What drew you into a career in wealth management, and how was your journey shaped your approach?
As Chief Operating Officer, I’ve been with the company since the very beginning, helping to shape its vision and build its foundation brick by brick. What drew me into a career in wealth management was the opportunity to connect strategy with purpose. I’ve always believed that managing wealth isn’t simply about numbers, it’s about understanding people, their values, and the legacy they want to create. Over the years, my journey has taught me that every client’s story is unique, and that perspective has shaped my approach to lead with empathy, curiosity, and clarity, ensuring that our work is deeply personal and impactful.
What do you believe is the most important factor in building long-term relationships with clients?
For me, the most important factor in building long-term client relationships is trust. It’s something earned over time through consistency, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to listening. I strive to make every interaction feel like a true partnership, one where clients know their goals and well-being will always come first. Success, in my view, is not just measured in financial milestones. It’s defined by a client’s sense of confidence and peace of mind; the feeling that they’re empowered to make decisions aligned with their values and future aspirations.
Outside of work, what's a hobby or interest that helps you stay balanced or inspired?
Outside of work, I find balance and inspiration through the simple joys that keep me grounded. I’m a coffee enthusiast who loves my ritual of brewing the perfect cup and discovering a delicious hidden café while traveling. My dog, Dune, is my constant companion and a joyful reminder to slow down and appreciate life’s little moments. I’m an avid reader; particularly drawn to biographies of powerful female leaders whose resilience and courage inspire my own approach to leadership. Gardening has become my peaceful sanctuary, a space to nurture growth and reflect, while biking helps me clear my mind and recharge.
Family is also a central part of my life. I’m incredibly proud of my two adult children and the paths they’ve forged. My son recently graduated college and has begun building his own career in investments in Chicago, while my daughter is an established NICU nurse at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Watching them thrive in their own callings brings me endless pride and perspective, reminding me that success is as much about the lives we touch as it is about the goals we achieve.
All of these passions remind me that the most rewarding accomplishments, in business and in life, require patience, care, and an unwavering dedication to the people and things that matter most.
